In a mad dash to check off a few last items on our Summer Bucket List this year before school started this week, we decided to try making some Homemade Ice Cream. We looked up a recipe but decided to try it our own way and it turned out way better than any of us expected!
We haven't shared a recipe in a while, heck, we haven't blogged regularly in longer than we'd like to admit. Between being pregnant, the complications that followed, having a baby, and then her growing into this now soon-to-be toddler, it's difficult to write. Or think. Or sleep. Or pee alone. As a matter of fact, while I am typing this very moment, little hands are grabbing at me and screaming about being held. Then put down. Then held. Now back down. It's hard to keep up with showering regularly, keeping them from living in filth, and feeding these little ladies, let alone writing about interesting things.
However, I remembered to take photos! And kept track of my recipe! And when I snap chatted about it, a few friends and family asked for the recipe. What better way to share it than adding it right here, where anyone can enjoy this fantastic recipe. Here we go!
We've checked off so much of our Summer Bucket List (you can find it here), we've swam and crafted and vacationed and relaxed. We tried new things, saw new places, and played new games. Unfortunately, our Summer has been cut short by two weeks to adjust to our county's new schedule. We were really bummed at first but did all we could to make it count. And hopefully it will feel good to be done two weeks earlier this year.
This year Pie is starting THIRD GRADE!!! I can't even believe it. She's signed up for so many extra curricular and sports, I have a feeling this year is going to fly by faster than usual. We can't wait to see her play her first game of the year, earn her next badge, and perform her first show. So before I get sentimental, here's this year's FIRST DAY PRINTABLE! Just click the image to download all 14 years, print what you need and take your photo to commemorate your little one's first day of school.
