It's no secret that being a grown up is tough work. Once we graduate high school, the praise of doing the crap we're meant to do (school work, getting up and going to school, getting dressed, brushing our hair, acing a paper) ceases and we're all just expected to do these things because we're "adults". Well there's a new trend called "adulting" and I can't say that disagree with the consensus that adulting is hard.
When a friend came to me with an idea for reward stickers for us, the forgotten grown up sticker lovers, I thought it was the best idea ever. We got to work on some great sets you can find in our shop here or on our Etsy page. Check out a few of the sets we have so far. Short Stack Designs has had the most incredible wedding season to date. It's been so wonderfully busy and we've come up with some great new items for the shop. Creating new signs for the big day has been so much fun and has turned out to be so lovely.
Today we're introducing a new type of sign, the I-Spy wedding photo op sign! This awesome new addition will add some whimsical fun to your big day and give you the opportunity to have your guests participate in creating memories for you all to share. We recently had a great reason to create an adorable new banner for someone who was about to find out she was becoming a big sister. Our very own Pie is about to get a very big promotion. We decided to make our "banner" a little different, because we love puzzles and scavenger hunts.
Our big news was a big secret and we were so very excited to share it with our Pie. We have all waited a long time to have this opportunity and we thought really hard about how we wanted to tell her. After some serious thought, we decided to go with a scavenger hunt, since Pops McGops is so great at them. We took each letter of our "banner" and used stickers printed on the computer for clues on the back of each one. Each clue had a number and at the end Pie had a big poster board with numbers to puzzle out the clues into two very important words. Whether it's a wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, or graduation party, these new signs are perfect to show your guests exactly where to go. The first is a cards and gifts sign for the gift table, telling everyone where to drop their gracious gifts so you don't have to. And the second is a sign is to show your party guests where they can pick up their party bags on the way out.
The season of educational transition is upon us! Congratulations to all of the future graduates this year. We are just as excited for your next great endeavor as we are to to offer these new announcements for your customization. You have something to be proud of and why not tell everyone all about your accomplishment. Or if you're a mom, dad, husband, wife, or just proud of your graduate, you can brag all about your smarty pants. These completely custom graduation announcements can be created to your specifications. Change the floral arrangement, add your own photo, request new artwork, different fonts, and more. There are a variety of background colors to choose from to make it all your own by choosing your favorite color or another awesome chalkboard. Create something to express your own unique style.
Having a graduation party, make a matching invitation too! Find this and many other beautiful announcements, invitations, thank you notes, and more in our Cards section of the Shop.
As you may have noticed, we have a new look, new name, and some awesome new things coming your way soon! We're all very excited to announce our big change, becoming Short Stack Designs. Since over the past few years we've grown out of our old selves and the limitations of it's name, we decided it was time for a change. Our little Short Stack has grown up.
You can still find all of your favorite posts on the old site through our Blog Archive link. And you'll find more great designs, crafts, recipes, party ideas, and more on the new page as well.
