In just a little less than two weeks Pie will be finishing up second grade! We made it through another year of virtual school and we're about to start Summer 2.0. Why 2.0? Last year, our Summer plans were all but cancelled due to my bed rest status starting in June. We were able to check off very few things on our Summer list before our world got turned upside down.
Joonbug was hell bent on making sure we didn't go very far or do too much before her arrival. Grandma spent most of the Summer escorting Pie around to the local YMCA, the park, and on lots of walks around the neighborhood. When they weren't doing those things, they were babysitting me, sitting on the couch, not moving much at all. Super fun. So this year, we're making up for lost time! We're making plans. Look out Summer, here we come!

My baby is going to be a third grader in just a few short days! :::sobs::: Not only has she kicked second grade's tush, she's excelled beyond our wildest dreams. Neither of us can believe the incredible student and kid she has become over the past year. And now she's about to embark on a Summer of fun!
Before we get ahead of ourselves, we have to take our traditional end of year photo! This year's printable is extra special. Pie designed it herself! She picked almost all of the aspects of this awesome FREE printable. It's awesome, colorful, and fun too! I might have to start paying her. Just click the photo below and you can download all 14 years available!

Creating a nursery for a new baby is something most people do before the baby comes. Not us, we did it backwards. When Pie was born we completed her nursery well before she was here. Then we had her in our room for the first year and the nursery was used as a guest room for that time. So this time around, we just skipped the baby's room all together and figured we'd get around to it in the first year some time.
It's no secret that being a grown up is tough work. Once we graduate high school, the praise of doing the crap we're meant to do (school work, getting up and going to school, getting dressed, brushing our hair, acing a paper) ceases and we're all just expected to do these things because we're "adults". Well there's a new trend called "adulting" and I can't say that disagree with the consensus that adulting is hard.
When a friend came to me with an idea for reward stickers for us, the forgotten grown up sticker lovers, I thought it was the best idea ever. We got to work on some great sets you can find in our shop here or on our Etsy page. Check out a few of the sets we have so far.
Having a hard time adulting? Get yourself some new adult reward stickers to celebrate the small victories in life. Check out all of the new sets in the Sticker Section of the shop. And while you're at it, enter our giveaway to win a sheet of the bar set stickers! You can enter once a day in a variety of ways. Check out the giveaway below!
It's that time of year again! While we're busy trying to keep up some normalcy with filling orders, homeschool, and new baby, the 25 days of Christmas waits for no one. This year we're back at it again with our favorite crafts, events, and sweet treats. Check out our previous posts for some great event and craft ideas or movie ideas to create your own 25 days.
We've done something new each year to make the 25 days advent a little more exciting than just a plain list on the calendar. We've made some little trees, a punch cup tree, and toilet paper twist poppers. But this year I decided to make something a little more simple.
It's all happening!!!
We're going on maternity-leave. Our Redbubble shop is open 24/7, order any time! Even if I'm in labor, maybe especially then. Thanks so much for all of your patience, love, and understanding. xoxo

Well that went fast! In true Summer fashion, this season came to a close before we knew it. For us it's been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, with plenty of excitement and craziness. While we were hoping to finish more of our Summer List, here in Florida, we still have some time to catch up on the warm weather items. One of our traditions that is coming up very soon is our First Day of School photos! You can follow that link and download last year's free printable or check out this year's new one!
This year we're celebrating starting second grade! It feels like just yesterday Pie was starting Kindergarten. Ok, let's get to the printable before I start getting weepy about the past.
Short Stack Designs has had the most incredible wedding season to date. It's been so wonderfully busy and we've come up with some great new items for the shop. Creating new signs for the big day has been so much fun and has turned out to be so lovely.
Today we're introducing a new type of sign, the I-Spy wedding photo op sign! This awesome new addition will add some whimsical fun to your big day and give you the opportunity to have your guests participate in creating memories for you all to share.
