Each year we make a list of the things we'd like to do. It's a great way to keep Pie from constantly saying she's bored. And at the end of the Summer, we can look back at a season of memory making. We try to update and change it based on what we've already planned and things we've talked about doing.
This year we have a very energetic toddler to include in our plans, so we tried to add in some things she could participate in as well. Most importantly, we tried to include experiences because those are the things they will remember.
Last year our summer was cut short by two weeks to accommodate the new school schedule from our district. Even though we do virtual school, we still had to start earlier than usual like the rest of our public school friends. So we did our best to make it through our list and if I remember correctly, we came pretty darn close.
This year it's summer time as usual, so we'll appreciate that extra two weeks this time. A little less than two weeks and counting, we're so excited! What are some of your favorite Summer plans? Do your little ones have any goals they're working on? How are you spending your time off with the kids?
